Upon returning, I find some of my ideas bluntly copied and represented as "new original products"...

It is an obvious replica of my original iClorama, designed to hold HDR images as environments.

It does not make me suffer, anyway. It is only a proof, Apparition is always ahead, no matter such concept is irritating for some.

So... be my guest! Continue getting "inspired" by my humble creations!

You are a great develloper , but your idea it's not new :P . Yes the first who release commercial product with Panoramic images for iClorama generously supplied by Dosch Design.

You have all in iclone since a long time ( iclone4 sure ) :
Set >props>3dspace> choose dome for example (depend on your hdr), and apply your hdr texture .

You can work around this texture with the same setting and adjust with a 2d editor if you want or the best with max .

Not exactly as the dome. It is strange you are confused, being a good and experienced developer!

Domes are mapped in a way, if you wrap on them an HDR image you won't get a realistic floor. The floor is the problem.
It took quite some time to develop the proper non linear mapping and to add some tweaking boxes to achieve the goal.
Of course you can use a regular dome and plant a flat surface on it but the floor will NOT be an integral part from the HDR image.

As I said the only value for me is history.

As in the old times, remember? The Industry Giants? The matter was WHO did it first!

Now with the iCLone Midgets.... The same.... Who did it first?

In the far Future, where there will be no cars, no smog, no victim-less crime, children will be will be instructed to know: "Apparition did the iClorama" ;)

With all of the Content you Developers have created over the years, it surprises me how you can remember what you've created in the first place.;)

Duplication of Content has happened many times & will continue to happen. It's inevitable.

That being said, if a Content Developer is thinking of developing Content which he knows is similar to  previously developed content by another Content Developer, I would have thought it would be "Gentlemanly Conduct" to contact that Developer beforehand.;) 

IMO, the only solution on an "Equitable Handling" basis, would be for all similar Content to be advertised side-by-side. Then prospective purchasers can make an informed choice.
