I know that portrait professional uses facial recognition to aid in mapping faces, and although the tech isn't perfect and modification is still sometimes necessary. It would make the process of using this software a little more streamlined. Just a thought, although that one would likely mean a major payed upgrade.
Putting makeup on a seperate layer would also make it usable for things like adding makeup to 3d characters through apps like ZBrush that use photoshop via Zapplink. I tried it as an experiment as is but it makes the face too dark because it doubles the original texture as well as adding makeup.

I agree. I use PP and the automatic detection saves a lot of time compared to FF (the Master series gets near perfect precision 99.9%). FF outperforms in makeup additions compared to PP, but making this improvement in FF would put it above PP, I think.
