I built an animation and when attempting to export get an error:

CrazyTalk Animator Reminder
WAV file load error.

I don't know what options I have to fix this... can I reload the WAV files for speech?

Help!

Thanks!

I reloaded the animation and all sound files were gone. I tried reloading the wave files for voices and it worked, but the background music gave "invalid file" error.

Even more confused now...

Hi..

There appears there may be a problem with the actual WAV files you are using. Please try to ensure that you are using PCM WAV files for best results.

You can easily convert to PCM format in most audio editors, but if you don't have one, you can download the free Audacity software which is excellent for editing and converting your audio files.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

That WAV error in CTA is sort of like a "catch all" error for all kinds of audio issues, so don't expect to get a clear answer on this one; support knows this very well btw, and there's quite a few threads on this forum about it.

What size is your wav file?

CTA has an ongoing quarrel with audio (this is not the only issue) but as a general rule...try to work with the lightest files possible.

Have you tried converting it to MP3?

Hope it helps :) !
