Because I have too many people in one scene singing ,moving and other things I get slow down and other problems.To fix this I export the actors on the same plain/level out as popvideo and import back in as video props on that level.This works but the quality is not that great even on the highest (8) and (4:3) 800 x 600 always crashes CTA when imported back in.Is popvideo output the best for this or is there any other exports that have transparent backgrounds that can be imported back into CTA?

PNG sequences, then pull into a video editor to render it to video, then re-import the video into CTA. Or better yet, composite each sequence into a video editor to build out your final video.

Too many PNG sequenced images to work in my external video editor to render,will look for other options thanks.

I have more of a question . . . can a video be used as a background? Or is it best to change the background to a solid color (Chroma Key) and combine the two video files in another program? Would this work in CTA and CT7? I am new at this and could not find any information on how this might work. Thanks.

You can use a video as a background in CrazyTalk Animator. All you need to do is drag the video into your CTA scene and choose Background as the option.
