Is there a way to save a movement I created on a character? How do you save motions?

Awesome!

Well for anyone who didn't, when in the animation tab, create your animation, and then on the left where all your animations are, click on the custom tab (I think that's what it's called) and go into a folder that you want to save it in. And remember, this stuff is on the LEFT of the screen. Then go to the bottom of the window with the thumbnails for your animations and click the plus sign. It will save the animation and you can name it whatever you want. Even better is that you can use it on any character within iClone. So if you have issues with a really highly detailed character, create the animation on a low character, then remap them to a high quality character.

Hope someone found this useful.

Is there a way to do the same for iprops? Can I save the animation of one iprop and add it to the perform of another? Specifically, I have custom characters animated (facial and body) in another program and added to the iclone scene as an iprop. I was hoping there was a way to add new animation clips to iprops. Otherwise it seems I have to import an updated version of the iprop character and manually position it to replace the older one. This has been a pqin in the butt. I hope someone understands and knows what I mean.

Is there a way to simply update a scene's iprop performs with new animation created in another software program?

Yes, you can save props by right clicking on them and then clicking on add to library.
