Hi I'm thinking of hiring a freelancer to help me with my video that's an introduction to my online Spanish learning system. As I've gone about setting up my project and populating it with scenery, props, and characters - it occurred to me that a good freelancer could probably help me build this movie a bit quicker! As I'm looking to learn how to do this myself for future movies, watching someone else apply iClone techniques on the elements I've already got would definitely help my learning process along as well.
Is there anywhere here at RL where freelancers can post an ad for their services, or where people like me can post a gig description? Seems that this might be very useful for people.

Hi Stacey, If you are interested in learning how to do these things for yourself, you might want to have a chat with Cricky. He does exactly this in his iClone Skype Classroom HERE If he's showing 'Online', you can chat with him to discuss your needs, or leave him a voicemail and he will get back to you. Cricky knows iClone inside out, so noone better to show you the ropes. Hope this helps. Shy

James Martin is one of the best iClone freelancers and trainers in the business (if not THE BEST) as he has worked hand in hand with Reallusion during iClone's development. He is certainly a gifted 3D artist. You might try contacting him about it. http://iclonecertifiedtraining.wordpress.com/

Hello James how nice of you to write - I've read several of the tutorials on your site and found them very helpful.
Do you have a way to see what I see on my screen during a Skype session? I thought I saw that functionality listed somewhere. If not - do I just bundle up my iProject for you so that you can see what I see while we talk? I've never tried to move an iProject before so I'm not sure if it contains the files or if you have to add all of your props, etc to a folder or something.
I appreciate your note here on the forum and will certainly be contacting you. I am hoping to become iClone savvy so that I can create some killer teaching videos with Latin American imagery (even thought of integrating some Flight Simulator shots of Mexico once my new Dell arrives :)
thanks again Stacey in Alaska

Hi James The word Freelance seems to get me worried when it comes to cost!! I have "worked" with freelance people before and it cost me an arm and a leg. Can you tell us your rates?

Thanks to Shy and Warlord too for your notes.
The rates page on James' site are very reasonable - 25 bucks for 1/2 hour session is what it says. Pay a freelancer to create a video, you get 1 video - pay one to teach YOU how to do it, you get as many as you can think up :)

Not trying to be awfu but when you are on a tight budget in your later years 25 bucks a half hour becomes 50 for the hour if you are a slow learner like me :) No seriously if people can afford this good on them. That 50 bucks converts to nearly £25 pounds here in UK. I think being a retired teacher I will just plough through the manual I downloaded. Thanks anyway for letting me know the rates as I had not visited the site.
