Yes, I invested in FaceGen many years ago and that looks typical of its results. It would be great to hear how you adapted that model for iClone.

this is actually an exporter made just for Genesis, at $99 it is considerably cheaper than Facegen itself. it uses an exported obj of Genesis without subdivision to create a morph target in Daz studio from a fg file, this fg file can be created from the free version of Facegen as I do. My only issue is I use Carrara and as of yet cannot do lipsync on Genesis there so I mostly use it for art image renders, I have done a few Daz Studio videos with it but they take too long to render, I did retarget the Gen version of my late mother for iClone intending to make a video using an iClone frankensteined head face fit for dialogue but yet to do it needing to find the right bit of home video footage for audio. edited tp update latest Carrara beta supports Mimic for Genesis so will be using it more, looking forward too, if facial animation supported in iClone.

We have been promised facial animation through an update so that would make the FaceGen - DAZ - iClone pipeline very interesting. Currently I use FaceGen to create face textures, but being able to use the faces directly would be better. I remember reading about the Genesis exporter for FG and being jealous...

If you buy the Dazstudio plugin for $99. It removes the water marks and embossed inprint from the figure, even if your using the Facegen Modeller demo. You just won't be able to export to the other file formats like Maya, Max etc.

Well I decided to try this out (because I like FaceGen), so I downloaded the demo of the Exporter. The only thing that I had problems with was using Decimator to reduce the polys of the hair of the character; it immediately crashed. I've seen other reports about Decimator problems. It's a pity because I paid money for it... Other than that, I found the DAZ 4 interface a pleasure to work with. Anyway, here's my girl in iClone. She would like to say hello but is awaiting facial animation! To give her some hair I used Jane hair as an accessory. It attached it to the hip , but that was easily rectifiied...

And here is another one, using FaceGen's face generation from a photograph. The one shortcoming I found is that the basic mapping of the eyes in FaceGen is not quite right and I don't know how to change that yet in DAZ other than editing the texture. I used DAZ hair for this character. The advantage of using DAZ hair is, for one, that there are a lot of options to tweak the hair and make it fit right.
