I always find it best to re-mix the all audio, voice tracks, EFX's, music in the NLE.

I usually just render a lo-res .wmv file out of iClone to use as my 'Sync-track" and use that in SONY Vegas as my reference. Then just stack my voice tracks and adjust & mix them.

I typically render out a .png sequence from iClone as my main visual source track and of course there is no audio embedded with that. :P

@ Job (Animagic) - Maybe you could find time, some-time, to Post a Tutorial re; that Feature, in the English Language;). The "Useless" (User) Manual is "Gobble-de-gook" (To me, anyway) & will remain-so, until it's re-written, IMO:unsure:

Hm, you're asking a non-native speaker...:ermm:

iC5's new Character Voice  Feature has a Waveform, which is a bit pointless if the Volume can't be Edited, as in NLE Programs, IMO.

Peter, the purpose of the waveform is primarily to fine-tune the lipsynching. I find it actually quite useful.

Many thanks, Job:)

You've confirmed what I suspected; That Audio Volume can only be adjusted for Sound Effects & not Speech. Which is odd, IMO.

Right now the only thing you can do is change the global volume for the speech (near the time line), which of course changes it for all speech. If it is at its max you would need to bring down the sound effects. Crazytalk has the option to replace the speech file without removing the animation, which allows you to increase the volume easily. In IC5 you can't do that.

The volume setting for the character on the right is for sound effects such as footsteps. If your speech file is imported you would need to use something like Audacity to increase the volume and redo the lipsynch, which sometimes gets worse if the volume is too high.

I never bother and use the speech file only for the lipsynching and mix all sound (including any speech) in my video editor.

How do you increase/decrease the sound of a Character's Imported Voice (WAV PCM Voice File)?

Character Sound is greyed-out (See Screenshot).

Uptil now, I've Edited the Volume in my NLE Program on the Main Video Track & added Sound Effects on the Sound Effects Track.

I now Import Sound Effects into iClone, where Prop Sound isn't Greyed-out, but Character Sound is.

In the Attached Screenshot, I have Pinhead talking with a Fire Sound Effect added to the Deckhouse Prop, which overides Pinhead's Voice, which I need to increase.

I suppose I could decrease the Fire Sound. However I need to keep the same Volume.

At the moment, the only Fix would be to Delete the Fire Sound in iClone & add it in my NLE Program.

Any help appreciated.

TIA:)
