There are a number of videos that relate directly to building terrains in Earth Sculptor.

Hi folks,

I looked everywhere, but I don't see "earthsculptor" here. There is no option to buy it. When I buy this program from the creators, it wont have the plugin i need for iclone, am I right?

So, where can I get a iClone compatible version of earthsculptor???

When you order the earth sculptor through RL you get the plugin.

Then you can go to earth sculptor site and update. 

RL may have included the update by now... 1.1 I think it is.

The earth sculptor is pretty easy to use, but it isn't well documented.

Maybe I should say, you the docs are there.  Yet, you don't really know how things come out in earth sculptor.

Also, when the ES files are exported as vns or obj the terrain may not look like what you were working with in Earth Sculptor.

If I can get a better idea on using Bryce and can import into iClone with 3DX5 that may be the best course of action.  Placing textures in Earth Sculptor is a mixed bag of how to do things

I bought the biosphere design content thing to get the earth sculptor a major disappointment the ES.

Still... it's what we have to work with, if we want our own custom terrains.

Help me.... Where do I find the Plugin for IClone...

This thread and linked locations will solve about 99.99 percent of issues. 

The problem is you have to study carefully and do some trial and error.  There is some failure to articulate things properly, therefore requiring extra effort to solve some issues.  

Developers aren't very good technical writers either. 

If you want to make your own landscapes... the choices are Earth Sculptor, earth sculptor and earth sculptor.

The new 3dExchange 5 pro may allow some import from Bryce, but I've not tried it.

I am totally confused! I recently purchased both earth sculptor and iclone. I have tried designing terrains in earth sculptor, saving them as:
Height map image
iclone model
obj export
Terrain textures.

None of them open in iclone! I try using:
New project
Prop - modify
Please help me, as I want an immediate refund if this is not rectified!

I see the error of my ways.  In my registration page, I see TWO links to download Earth Sculptor. Guess what? The second link was the plugin.  YAAY! 

Moving on to exporting now and I'll see if I have any size restrictions or lock-ups as previously reported by Rampart.
