Can this product be used to generate textures for use outside of iClone 4, so in photo compositing or video compositing?

Thanks.

Keith

I know nothing about any of the versions.  Just heard about Genetica today in an email promotion.

How hard is it to learn the software?

I've been using the viewer for quite some time.

You can start off knowing NOTHING. Just export your textures and call it a day. The learning curve is pretty stable.

I haven't used any of the paid versions, but the viewer comes with tons of free to use textures.

I'm not sure what the difference is between the studio and pro versions. I do know that the pro versions can make HDR and reflection maps and the studio can't.

I hope that helps.

I'd get this, but the only real reason I want it is for the HDR/reflection maps and there are some other smaller applications that can do that if that's all you're going to use it for.

Do you know anything about the Studio version???

Yeah, basically the PRO and Studio version are the same.

The only difference being that the Studio version has preset animations and can create animated textures. Besides that, PRO version can do everything else that the Studio version can do.

Oh yeah, and the Studio version has a $500 price difference !!! :D
