Hi Guys,

I am just looking over the CT 5 after not using CT for a while now. A while ago I wanted to create some packs with voices (impressions) and just wanted to know what I save them as? Is it just a ctp file. For example I will create a Hollywood pack with De Niro, Pacino, Walken etc so do I just record the voices and then open them up in CT then save as ctp file.

I would appreciate any help, also any animators wanting to create other packs any ideas welcome.

Regards

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

It's great to hear your plans for Crazytalk content. If what you will be creating will be audio only (no image or script) then you will probably be better off with just the individual WAV files containing the vocal impressions.

If you do plan on adding facial images, animations etc then these should be supplied in the appropriate CTM and CTS formats. As I'm sure you are aware you can't use copyright images for your packs so all work would have to be 100% original.

At present there are no audio only packs available for sale in the content store. Take a look at the link below for the submission guideline page and here you will find the contact email if you would like to enquire about submitting audio packs for resale.

Good luck with your packs.

Hi Pete,

Thank you for your reply. I have wanted to do this for ages as I have always loved CT. I have just been busy on other projects and now with you tube it's amazing what I can do as an impressionist, it's great fun. I was originally going to add caricatures which is what I use for my greeting cards and sat nav voices but did not want to complicate it with the original artist and besides just having the voices is easy for me as that it my skill. Should be great fun.

I really appreciate your help

Thanks

Stuart
