| | Hi, I don't know if you have read the developer document "Creating Characters For iClone" but if not I would strongly advise you to do so as it contains some vital information on the issues you have. There are also some video tutorials which are well worth following too. All of which can be found in the Developer Center. http://developer.reallusion.com/ Basically any clothing you create for the G1 characters needs to be part of the Upper or Lower mesh. If the clothing is separate it will not animate with the character as you are experiencing now. You can't have an Upper or Lower mesh and an additional clothing mesh when exporting to iClone you should combine them into one Upper and one Lower. Once you have created the clothing you will need to use the Skin Modifier to make sure that the mesh moves and bends correctly with the bones when the character is animated. I hope this points you in the right direction. Pete

| | Hi. I would also be interested in the answer to this as I have a similar problem when using Clone Cloth. Is there any way to resize the actual clothing layer, as I have discovered that when using - for example - the gown with the Xaria human base, the naked bottom hangs out! Thanks. |

Thanks in advance --Meenakshi Hi Richachd, The important thing after applying the Skin Modifier is get the vertex weighting right and this very rarely happens first time and normally requires a lot of tweaking. 3DS Max comes with an excellent tutorial on this if you are new to the process so well worth following first. After you have the vertex weighting right you may still encounter some problems with skin showing through the clothing and this a problem that also affects CloneCloth users and the long gown. Take a look at the link below for information on this problem. Although it is aimed at CloneCloth users you can adapt the procedure so that it may help you with Max. http://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/iClone/pack/CloneCloth/Skirt_help.htm
