Rendering problems

I have set the total frames in the Project settings screen to 4000 and can make a movie up to 4000 if I want.
The current scene goes to 2200. I type in 1 to 2200 in the range when I am in the render screen but as soon as I move from that place it returns to 1800.
I went back and checked and the properties says I can go to 4000 but the render will not let me render that much.
Is there another setting that will permit me to render the complete scene? It is a lady speaking and it takes that long to complete. (No comments on that part.)
I do not know what I am doing wrong.

You're not doing anything wrong - this is a bug that has been reported several times already. There is a work-around, but it's not really what you want to hear at the moment.

The "solution", for those that have iClone 5, is to make an empty project in iClone 5 and set the number of frames to a high number and save it. Copy this blank project file into your iClone 6 project folder and open it. Use this project as a base for new projects and you can then render more frames.

I think that this problem was introduced with the 6.01 patch and Reallusion have not mentioned when it will be corrected.

I had been tempted to do this movie in iClone5.51 already.
The avatars I am using are from 5.51 and I think the scenery is from the same place. If not, it is pretty generic.
the voices will work with either one.
I do have a computer with only iClone 5.51 on it.
Maybe.......
Thanks.

Maybe I did not understand the problem well .. I'm not having a problem .. I've implemented a project consists of a 4517 frame a good result without any problems with iclone 6 ..

if the project was started in iclone 5 it will work no problem however if you start that project completely in iclone 6 it wont work you can render "all" but you cant render a "range" above 1800 it wont work.

This problem has now been solved with the new 6.02 patch.

See this thread for details.
