Does anyone know why characters and scenes aren't loading properly.  I recently purchased a new pc and reinstalled the software.  Screen shot down below.

If it's a new computer have you made sure it has been fully updated? You should certainly run Start > Settings > Windows Update to make sure you have all the latest system updates. Then you should update your graphics drivers. A new computer will normally come with outdated graphics drivers so this is very important. Check with Nvidia or AMD for the latest drivers. This should fix the issue you show in your screenshot.
