Hello!  I've installed Smart Gallery plugin (to CC4 and IClone) about 10 times but it simply doesn't show on Plug-in menu in neither of them. I´ve tryed SHIFT+F4 but it opens Content Manager insted of Smart Gallery.  I have the hub installed and I got a message that I was supposed to uninstall before download the plug-in and I also did it another several times. It just doesn´t work. What am I doing wrong?

Hi

The Smart Gallery Plug-in was for CC3 and iClone 7. In CC4 and  iClone 8 the features of Smart Gallery are now built into Content Manager so no additional plug-ins are required.

You can find tutorials on the new Smart Content Manager built into CC4 and iClone 8 below.

Hi Peter!
But in this Reallusion new video tutorial about IClone 8, Smart Gallery is required. I tried to find the specific type of walk they use in the Smart Content, but it is not there. They specifically use Smart Gallery content in IClone8 (not 7) in their own new tutorial about motion editing, so I didn´t understand your reply. Here´s the tutorial I´m talking about. https://courses.reallusion.com/home/iclone/character-motions?v=iclone-8-tutorial-auto-motion-alignment-basic-motion-editing-1. Could you help me? Thanks!

Hi...

Apologies for the confusion. The tutorial you link to was created during development of iClone 8 when Smart Gallery was still being used.

However, as I mentioned previously, now in iClone 8 the Smart Gallery Plug-in is no longer used and the features of Smart Gallery are built into Content Manager. There is no separate plug-in to install.

Regarding the motions used in the tutorial, the walk motion used up to 1:31 is from the City Life motion pack. Unless you have purchased this pack you won't have access to these motions. Of course you can use other motions instead of the exact ones shown as the tutorial. The purpose of the tutorial is to show how to do basic motion editing so the motions being used do not need to be exactly the same.
