Often when I render a scene the hair (especially long hair from women) is flipping around at the start of the render.
Sometimes part of the clothing is doing the same. How can I fix this?

The physics needs time to settle. In the render options you can specify how many frames not to render at the beginning. A few seconds is usually enough.
