it is 2D, still very experimental, not useable in 3d apps yet ...

I honestly doubt  this tech will ever be ported to “traditional” 3D applications and frankly why would it?.

ALL of the new AI  animation technologies seem to be based on luring people into their NEW eco systems
and extracting value from that, not adapting to the older competing  tech.
Love them or hate them you have to admire how Adobe has not waited for someone over in the 2D Generative AI art sector to Port midjourney or stable diffusion to Photoshop etc
Adobe has developed their own in house or at least bought someone’s AI tech and ported it to photoshop themselves which may extend the life of photoshop as creative tool a bit longer.

But we have to be honest and realize that not every type of software company is going to survive once AI can do in seconds what use to take hours after you invest in a Decent spec PC and learn to model ,UV texture, animate etc etc.

@AutoDidact :  True ! Not with RunwayML, they are 2D only.  But there are startups working on machine learning for 3D apps. ( facial expressions )
Meta Human Animator for UE5 has machine learning for facial expressions in the background...

I think nearly everyone here in this community can appreciate and be happy how fast AI voices have progressed.
Even the free ones are good enough for basic video narrations.
This is one of the free ones built into chatGPT
used with Cartoon animator

Moin,

In order for the discussion to remain accessible and ongoing, here is a Google translation:

Hi,

AI development is so rapid and impressive that as a classic user of iClone, CC and CTA you almost feel left behind.

Is anything known yet about whether there are plug-ins, upgrades etc. for the programs in question that enable work processes using prompt engineering?

To be honest? These video AIs publish highly embellished results. Most of them are simply not usable, and you have to create dozens of variants to get a halfway decent one, which you can then no longer fine-tune afterwards. That's how the providers make their money, because you have to keep buying credits for new generations.

In the end you also have the problem that the videos are not consistent with each other or have to be massively edited.

Basically, all of this is impressive but practically not really usable because the characters in AI videos can only look stoically into the camera and walk straight ahead and nothing else.
