I have an issue using the Popcorn FX fur preset. When I apply it to my character the fur is too sparse even when turned up to the maximum amount. I've worked out that it's because my character isn't much bigger than the emitter itself. When I scale the character in Iclone it looks great but then all my expressions on the facial aniamtion don't seem to work. I would scale the character up but I didn't rig it and when I try to scale it I get so many issues. Is there a way around this in Iclone? Many thanks, Peter

Can you show a picture of your character ? Does it come from CC3 ? It's a bit stange because fur particle works with vertex number , the scale has no influence on the number of vertices...

Hi MTakerKart, Thanks for the fast response, much appreciated. I'm attaching three images. One of the character in wireframe mode and two others. Capture01 is the character in its default size in Iclone and Capture02 is where I've scaled them in Iclone. If you look at the top of their head you can clearly see that Capture02 has more strands of hair despite the settings being identical. In theory if the strands are based on verts, should they not have the same amount of strands? I made a test with the CC3 Caleb. When you scale up , the strands size don't scale up so that why it seams to be more eparse. 76% of original size (was 666x19) - Click to enlarge 76% of original size (was 666x19) - Click to enlarge

I'm not sure your example is correct because you're starting with a character that is already a lot larger than the emitter. Can you try to import a smaller character that Is around the same the size as the emitter and see what results you get from that at its standard size and then enlarged? Many thanks for putting some time into this, much appreciated. Peter

Since you can't really play with the size of the strands, the size of the character is imposed to have a good result.
