I imported a replica wav file into iclone. When I play it or render it, however, it crackles and sometimes stutters.  It does not do this if I play it in a media player. I have 6gb Video memory and plenty of RAM. I also deleted the entire set as I thought it might be bogging down the system. However, with a default character in iclone, it still crackles on playback and in the final render to .mp4.
