Anyone else having issue on UE 5.4.4 crashing when trying to apply CC4 texture after right click on the metahuman BP ? This works perfectly on 5.3.2  !!

Also another question, what are your workflow regarding metahuman clothing ? I mean how do you cloth your metahuman and do cinematics ? Is there any other way beside plugins like metatailor and udraper ?

Anyone else having this leg issue with CC4 character inside UE5 with the new layered CR ground alignment rig ?





So I tested CC4 Ground-Alignment and it works fine so far.
But you can get little leg jiggle when going downwards ( cos the IClone animation was recorded on a flat floor )
What helps is to keyframe the hip ( body ) a bit down when going downwards ( in real life you would do it too )
So here I show what to do ( a little exaggerated )  but works fine πŸ€ͺ

Woah this is game changer, I have a bunch of daz3d clothing that can be used now haha. Thanks boss.

Also what do you need to do when you use marketplace clothing like the polyphoria armors and the heavy armor set with metahuman ? Is there any better way in 5.4 to use other than parenting on BP ?

Armors should be parented , soft cloth should be skinned.  ( in the video above it is skinned )
So you should do both.  If it is cloth from other characters you need to fit it in CC4 first with the right MH morph you are using. (m_tal_nrw ...  f.e)
Or use Blender (free) to make it fit...I personally use Marvelous Designer but this are extra costs.

Yeah, eyes and/or head are aiming,  the expressions are a secondary motion BP.
Let know for which Character ( MH/CC4.....) and I'll show you how. 😁

I need the cc4 solution, please.
is it possible we can add weight for body and head movements like in icone8.(or even key frame it in sequencer which can not be done in iclone
my goal is building a system which can be used both in game and animation.
