Today is a great day. I’ve been studying Unreal engine for months and months now. Years even. I’ve bought courses, watched every tutorial under the sun, but I thought I would never be able to master it. I thought I would have to remain in iClone forever. Not that I don’t appreciate iClone. I build all my characters and animation there.

I’ve been working on a project in iClone and I thought some scenes would look better in Unreal  engine, but I never had the courage to jump into it. I feared the difficulties. It’s not an easy program to learn. I got desperate.

Until today. I can actually create a whole scene in UE5,  I know enough now. The landscape scenes look so much better.

That is great !  👍 I think everybody here took some time to familiarize themselves with the UE.
You didn't give up , Respect!
The forum here is there to help where we can , so always ask if you need help.

Waouh. Welcome to the club Argus. I love Unreal but animation in Iclone is still more easy for me. The bottle exploding is made in 2 seconds at iclone , I searched to do that at unreal=> headaches. So I just transferred fbx. And if you stuck, Bassline and Rob with his great yellow jumpsuit are there BigGrin. I don't know how he does but Bassline always knows the solution. Rumors say his brain is made with many many blueprint  BigGrinBigGrinBigGrin

Hi Argus,
Welcome, I wish you success,
You are not alone, you are in the right place.
For me it's just a hobby and the main thing is
that you have fun with it. I look forward to your first results.
Greetings Robert😀

Yeah! Welcome aboard... You definitely don't know enough but your hunger for wisdom will be fed here! BigGrin
I also had at least 3 attempts to get into this, failed miserably, almost gave up,
but the guys here always encouraged me and I am very happy to have Unreal in my pipeline.
It really is a joy to work with a combination of iClone, CC4 and Unreal...

Argus - you are definitely in the right place to learn UE, CC & IC and the happy overlap they have together! I'd even go so far as to say that it is probably THE best place online for gaining knowledge in those softwares as people on this thread are very helpful and beyond generous with sharing their knowledge. I'm a bit of a lurker myself but one day I hope to make something cool to share - I'm terrible at finishing projects! ;P  - but I know if I ever do it will be 100% because of what I've learned on this excellent forum!
