Here is a detailed video on how I capture any talking head or manually recorded face video that can be used inside Iclone via the LiveFace plugin. This is a follow-up video to what @Kelleytoons mentioned for live capture. This was done using the Iphone 11 Pro. Enjoy...

When using the phone arms, make sure you allow the arms to stop shaking before capture.

And it doesn't have to be your phone, you can use a monitor, a television, another computer, anything that can display video can act as your source (even iClone itself -- put the video in the background and hide the avatar you're syncing).

Good stuff, technology today can achieve amazing things:-) What do you mean with "put video in the background" which video do you refer to from what source? I didn't quite catch that hehe... You need an iPhone with the 3D camera -- cheapest right now is the iPhone XR (doesn't have to have service). The iPad Pro also has the camera. What I mean by video is you could use iClone and just drag and drop your video into the background and use that to capture the face. I might demo that in another tutorial (I already have a tutorial out that uses just another monitor as I have my dual monitor setup).

So, import an existing video clip into iClone, then us iPhone with Live Face Plugin to capture the face and then to see the Character loaded inside iClone doing face animations and capture that again?
