One developer that I know of - Warwick Hays, of WTH animation - has already dipped a toe in the rear view character market (and there might be others too).  Note that these are plain G3 characters, drawn from behind, since they were released prior to CA4, but he may well update these ones or release new ones in the future as CA4 becomes more familiar.  Look for "Fred", "Fred Behind", "Bartender Fred" and "Bartender Fred Behind".

Cartoon animator. I'm lacking the ability to give my videos more depth with camera angles, so I can pan above while my 360 character is looking up or pan around them, etc.

What would it be like to have the back of a character, so a full true 360 could be achieved, rather than the current 3 angles (front, side, 45 degree) options.
