I'll shoot Noitom a message and ask in my update letter. Though I suspect probably not because it's not a problem with a charge coming off of something, but the electromagnetic fields generated by the sensors that are being diverted or redirected by the aluminum in the floor ( I think ).  I'll see what they say.

I am glad you found the problem and I hope it won't be to hard or expensive to fix this.
