And let me correct what I said earlier (after "speaking" with Brekel, who is very responsive): while you can't start and stop it onscreen, you can set a delay so you can start the record button and then get into position. I will be testing this out either tonight (if I get rained out) or tomorrow.

That is not for the X-box One Kinect. It is for the 360, Kinect for Windows v1, and probably Primesense. If you want a more full featured Kinect v2 (that would be X-box One)capture option, then look at Brekel Pro Body V2. http://brekel.com/brekel-pro-body-v2/ You beat me to it. I was actually looking at Brekel as you wrote this - and, for once, getting excited by Kinect possibilities. Many thanks!

That certainly looks interesting, Rampa. It's not quite as user friendly (you can't of course record directly to iClone and must trust and hope the resulting formats are compatible enough, although they should be. Worse, you can't start and stop yourself easily: it looks to need one other person besides the one being captured unlike the iClone one which has onscreen start/stop). And it's hard to tell if it will do turnarounds or not, although it does hand and at least one finger. I may explore it (damn you for causing me to spend more money! ;>).

Points of interest (according to their website - I don't have the software) * iClone compatible * 360 degrees body rotation! * Starting at $149
What is not clear (discussion points) * is it better than RL plugin? How much better? * Does it capture "clean" data usable immediately * Is it compatible with Xbox One? It says compatible with Kinect for windows and for 360 so it should be. * why is the market not excited about it? Is it for real? * Do you have one and can you please share your experiences?
