So I'm new to all this but my IClone version looks ENTIRELY different (but this was only posted 4 months ago?).  Also, I have the "create face" option using a G5 or G6 character but I can't seem to do it to a character created in character creator and I can't seem to edit the G5 characters in character creators.  How am I supposed to match up the facial features?

G5 characters have a different mesh and structure and are not compatible with Character Creator. You can still create faces for G5 characters in iClone 6, but that function is not compatible with Character Creator.

To create faces from photos in Character Creator you currently need CrazyTalk 8 Pipeline, which includes a head creator. A separate Head Creator for iClone has been announced but no release date is known.

EDIT: The user interface you see is for iClone 5, but the head creation for G5 characters works pretty much the same in iClone 6.

i just got iclone 6 and want to create a face with g5 charactor can some one tell me where can i adjust the texture on the face like sometimes the side of the face needs fill in coloring , in iclone 6  i dont see a texture options,iclone 5 use to have the texture button

You can still edit the texture in an external graphics editor:



Proceed as follows:
   1. With the character selected, click the Modify icon.
   2. In the Materials List on the Modify panel, select RL_Face/RL_Skin.
   3. Select the Diffuse map, which will have the texture for the face.
   4. Click the Launch icon.
   5. This should open the face texture in your specified graphics editor. If you haven't specified one, iClone will ask for the location.
   6. Once you've edit the texture and saved your changes, the updated version will be loaded automatically.

animagic one more thing i have adobe elements 15 i have the texture in photoshop elements how do you save it to update the texture on the skin of the charactor

Just save the file in Adobe Elements. It will then automatically be reloaded in iClone and the texture will be updated. But make sure to use the Launch button to open the file as I explained.
