Congratulations for getting the shoulders to work!:D
I have spend taken together maybe a week adjusting these profiles. And gave up long while ago. Since version 3, I use iClone a lot more and took up converting bvh motion again and modified your profile somewhat, mainly the ankles, to fit into my workflow. It is the Poser7_M3_BR profile in the file attached if anyone is interested. Works ok with M3 in Poser 7 for existing motions in Poser format or imported bvh.
So my workflow (do not have Autodesk Max) is as follows:
-Find a suitable motion in Poser or as bvh file and import into Poser7 and apply to M3.
-Export the bvh from Poser7.
-Convert the bvh using the mentioned profile and apply to avatar in iClone3.
-Do adjustments like cutting out sequence of interest in the timeline and adjusting limbs with the iClone motion editor if needed.
-Save as iMotion, which, I suppose, can be used for personas. Might look into this later.
Must say that motion editing works great in iClone 3 as compared to previous versions!
And I think it is important to have other ways than Autodesk Max to get stuff into iClone - there is other GREAT 3D software out there... (well until autodesk will have aquired them all http://area.autodesk.com/softimage_announce, actually, who will be first aquired by them, antics or RA?)
 my imaging rants and other mad stuff
