I've been experimenting with the BVH Editor and found that when I download capture files from BVH.com, the head is sideways and the elbows are rotated backwards as well. I am still tweaking my edits but, depending on the motion, I have created a new profile with the following bone set adjustments (this gives Jack Casual a little bit of an attitude in his posture):

Head 0 -90 0
Left Ankle 60 20 -10
Left Elbow 20 -90 0
Left Hip 0 -10 0
Left Knee 0 -10 0
Right Ankle 60 30 0
Right Hip 0 0 0
Right Knee 0 0 0
Right Elbow -10 -90 0

I was surprised, though, that each motion capture file seems to need tweaking. I was hoping to produce a default for the bvh.com's files and just use it whenever I download one but they don't seem to be consistent. I'm also curious if I should have the red arrows pointing the same way in the converted file as the source file but if I do some things are backwards. ??
