Once again I guess it's just me and my system but the "Disappearing Gizmo Problem" is still driving me up the proverbial polygon!!! I'm having to relaunch iClone at least 30 times a given session to get back the Gizmo. Is there no fix or workaround? I assume the team is working on it as it was a know problem awhile back...but am I the only one still having this problem? It seems much worst with the new release to me. mp

Hi Mark, Sorry to hear of your frustration with this Gizmo problem. The issue has been reported to the iClone team who are looking into it. The problem is that this isn't affecting everyone and in fact it appears to only be happening to a few iClone users so is proving hard to track down. It may be down to a certain system specific problem. As is always the advice, please make sure your graphics drivers are up to date to eliminate a graphical issue. Have you tried using Preferences to switch the Gizmo off and on again or try toggling CTRL + Q when it disappears. If you haven't then it would be worth a try rather than having to completely restart iClone each time.

Thanks Peter. Nvidia drivers are very new and as of yesterday the newest. I will try the toggle some more as well...have used it sporadically in the past but usually no luck. Will keep tryin' Thanks! mp

Good suggestions everybody. Guess I'll just get used to a different way of doing adjustments. Thanks! mp

Sometimes Ctrl-Q stops working for me and I have to restart iClone. I've used gizmos for so long that I prefer them so I've found them to be a nice little addition. I switch back and forth quite a bit unless Ctrl-Q dies on me.

Just to let folks know, I've also observed the dissapearing gizmo issue. I don't know what causes it. I have to restart Iclone when it happens.
I'm on Win XP SP3, Nvidia 9800GT gfx card

FWIW - I can Select/Deselect the Gizmo at random, by Clicking on the Object - Gizmo on. Clicking anywhere-else on a blank space in the Preview Window - Gizmo off. Clicking back on Object - Gizmo on again. No need for Ctrl Q or Selecting Gizmo On/Off in Preferences / Gizmo Option. Try it.

From the replies here it seems that this Gizmo issue is affecting more users than previously thought. I will make sure that the iClone team are aware of this and hopefully a fix can be found for an upcoming patch or upgrade. Thanks for the continued feedback.
