This may be a no brainer for some of guys out there but I wasn't able to find the answer in the reference material provided by Reallusion. My question is simple and I would appreciate any help.

I am creating a 3D Scene. I want to add a sequence map to a polygon within the scene, not a single image but a sequence. When the scene is rendered in Iclone, the sequence will advance one frame for every frame that Iclone renders and generate motion on the poly that I assign the sequence map to.

Can this be done? Thanks!

Tom

Hi Tom, I,m pretty sure you can't do that at the moment in iClone, but the way I got around it was to green screen either the polygon OBJ/Prop with animation added in a program tha lets you do that ( MAX or Poser, VUE) and layer it into the rendered movie, or if the polygon is in the background green screen the rest the movie over the polygon / Prop.

Hope this helps.

Christy  :)

Hi, tom

It's told that we will possibly open the new feature for the next version.
Sorry for the inconvenient occasion here.

Regards
Visconti

Image sequences can be done by cell method.  (as each frame advances a new image will appear in background)  The instructions on how to do this was emailed to Charles Chen some six months ago, along with the suggestions to do face manipulation. whao are you Visconti are you John Martin?

Hi, Tom

You can also visit
http://developer.reallusion.com/docs_ic.aspx
to download the white paper of
"Working with materials and shaders in iClone"
And you will learn how to use animated UV in p.45-51.
Or, you can take Christy's suggestion to do it in video editing tool.

Hi, Trothe

I am not John, I am Jason.

Thanks
Visconti
