Hello all, Just purchased the program a few days ago and loving it so far. I am having an issue with the background when I test the initial movements using the calibration button. I have masked around the head but when i test it i see traces of the head still "stuck" to the background when the whole head is moving. I see it most when the calibration gets to "tilt left, tilt right and some natural movement (head swings)"

I am using still photos... not images with white backgrounds.

If someone could help me out... that would be great. Thanks for your time in advance.

Hmmmmmm...I have been having exactly the same problem -(((((, so any help would be very much appreciated.  I have a hunch it may be something to do with the placement of the wire meshes.  I played around for ages but with little success though.  Any leads, tips, work-arounds would be very welcome.

OK...try doing this...I can't test it because my Trial Version has expired....although I want to buy the product asap, I am gonna hang fire for a short while until issues I have noted are resolved.

Take a new image, wire mesh up but do not use the Masking Tool...does the problem disappear?  Take a second instance of the same image, mask it up and see whether the problem re-appears.  If it does then there would seem to be an issue with the masking tool, if you get my drift  The issue could be compounded with the limits of the meshes and the masking itself.  Have a go and then at least we'll have something to report to the tech team. Let's know how you get on.  Mind you the above is only a hunch!!!!  But it can easily be tested as a theory in a few minutes.

I hope by now you have solved your issues.

You should convert your pics to png format which would make the white transparent.

Then import that one and it will solve most problems. If it still exist then go into the background options and choose color and then select your prefered choice then hit ok this will solve the rest of the problems of this kind. You can choose the same color as the original background as the choice for background color and problem is solved.

Finally if you must use the jpg and can not convert them to png then when you are erasing the background zoom in until you can see the individual square pixels then erase the ones at the outline of your pic this will get rid of the ghost effect you are having.

Did this problem get solved? I am just seeing the same effect on the latest update to CT6 pro(6.21).
If so I would appreciate any help!
