Neil each time I watch this video I catch myself traveling back in time (in my case, a very long time) to Sunday evening in front of the tv watching Tinker Bell fly over the castle. The narrative is so informative. Thank you!

Distortions are found within every facet of art wether it be paintings, graphics, music, or poetry. These "distortions" and subtleties are the manifestation of the perspective of the artist, which enables him/her to transcend the ineffable, to speak that which there are no words for. Within this paradox is the very essence of art.

If one were to create a work of picture perfect realism, yet failed to convey the inspiration for which it was created, then the work would be a complete failure. On the other hand, if the work was completely out of proportion, twisted, and distorted yet caused the observer to see the work as the artist imagined, then there in lies success.
