Same problem in Crazy talk, using the Greeting "Guardian Template". Choices are .cab or .mht. I realize that .cab is just a packaged .mht. When you click to open, the face appears, but no type or rest of template, just x's. I use IE, so the Firefox thing won't help. We wanted to use this type of thing to email out to potential clients. But, if people are going to have issues opening everything, I am not sure this is a good option.
The Messenger option, with the little TV screens will be useful, especially with the link to url. But I would also see a use for the Talking Slide - so I would gladly take the earlier version of Crazy Talk. But, will people be able to play the files when zipped and emailed to them. That is the other problem, you can't email .exe files, they get blocked. So they have to be zipped. the .cab option, asks you to run or save - which will scare some people. So they won't bother.
Is Crazy Talk 5 going to expand further on these features?
I will just make sure the Talking slide demo doesn't X out things, then I will post back regarding the earlier version of Crazy Talk.
Thanks.
If everyone has to download a crazy talk player to play the files, most won't bother I would think.
