I have created an animated character to place on a clients website. She wants the character to immediately start talking when her website loads. She also does not want any arrows to play the movie...just play once then stop and sit in standby mode. I have been back and forth with tech support...and all I have gained is many lost hours and hair.

I use Dreamweaver...I have embeded the swf file which is supposed to work...all i get is a picture off those darn arrows...

Maybe this can not even be done...Is there anyone that can please help me?

Hi there, I understand what your trying to do .. and have done what you are doing, but the issue is having the movie place each time the page loads. That's my problem on this end as I want to control the video from playing over and over.

To get the movie (character) to play each time I took the outputted file and imported into "swish video" by swishzone.com -- Then you can import the exported code for your site. If this is a single file I can do it for you free once as I know what it's like to want to get things done.

Hopefully future releases will have the auto play option and the ability to have a video play only once per visitor visit to a site.
