I thought when buying the Pro version of CTA that we got all the features of CT7 plus the animation. I was looking at the comparison and noticed that the CTA users do not get Face audio driven movement & control, and Face auto motion scenario templates. Is that something that can be added or accomplished without buying CT7?
Thanks,
schemer

CT7 is the latest release of 2D software from RL so has newer features over the CTA.
I would expect the same features to be included in CTA2.

Jeff,
I guess when I talked to the guy on the phone and asked him if I needed both programs or if CTA had *everything* that CT7 had and more...he answered yes. So I assumed I wouldn't be missing any functionality. Oh well. I hope the upgrade is soon and the price is reasonable. :D I was liking the Face audio driven movement & control part.
Thanks,
schemer

There is no guarantee that those things will be included in a newer version of CTA. They are different products, targeted towards different usages. While I agree they'd be neat to have in CTA, there's a whole slew of things I'd much rather see added to enhance CTA as a character animation system as opposed to just a facial animation system.
