As a beginner, I'm confused about the various names I see for the different CrazyTalk products and how they differ. There is one naming convention that uses a sequence number, i.e. CrazyTalk 5, CrazyTalk 6, CrazyTalk 7. I've also seen CrazyTalk Pro 2010 and CrazyTalk Pro 2012. Then there's CrazyTalk Animator. I think I have CrazyTalk Pro 2010 but when I click on the link to check for an updated product it tells me that I have the latest version, even though I've seen references to CrazyTalk Pro 2012. Is CrazyTalk 7 a different product from CrazyTalk Animator which is yet a different product from CrazyTalk Pro 2010? Which one is the most feature-rich and the most current? Thanks.

I've never seen a CrazyTalk Pro 2010 or 2012, all I know is CrazyTalk (Pro), and CrazyTalk Animator (Pro).

There are two versions of CrazyTalk, the standard version and the Pro version. These are for animating 1 single head.

There are two versions of CrazyTalk Animator, the standard version and the Pro version, and they are intended for full body animations.

CrazyTalk (CT) has undergone some enhancements and is at version 7 right now, but you can only animate a single character (head). CrazyTalk Animator (CTA) is only at version 1 and is due to be updated towards the end of this year I believe.

As far as which is the most feature rich, it depends on your needs.

This clears up quite a bit of my confusion. I have CTA Pro, so now when I see the videos on YouTube that describe version 6 or version 7 I now know that they are describing CT and that they are limited to head animation. Thank you much.
