Hi All,

I'm new to 3D and looking for help.  I've been using graphics programs for a while, but now wish to get into 3D.  I've just downloaded Effect3D Studio but it doesn't allow or I should say, I can't see how to attach another letter on top of another with a 'cutout effect' which I then want to 3D with depth on the 'E' part of the graphic.

Is there anyway to do this in Effects Studio please?  Sorry it's long winded!

Have you tried using Sketchup? Sketchup has a 3D text tool that you can very easily create 3D text and then convert them to iclone models through 3D exchange to layout any format/texture you want

The image below was done completely in iclone, no post production. The text was created in sketchup and imported into iclone and positioned to get the desired look

Thank you so much for your help.  This is what I've been playing with, but would like it more 3D, I've only just downloaded iClone and will have a play later.

Popeye, Is there anyway to add the psd file?  The problem I'm having is it looks pixelated around the outside, which I obviously don't want, I'd like to see a crisp logo!  It's for a charity site and I'd like it perfect for them.

Also it needs to be black, which isn't a problem achieving.

Hi Cassalilly. Not sure if you're looking to have just the "E" recessed or the "S" 3D with the E cut out of it. Here is a jpg of the E recessed
