Hi guys 
As you may know, I lost my friend and lead actress back in May and, as if that wasn't enough, along with Shy
I lost all of my voice actors information along with her. She handled all the talent coordination and I couldn't bring myself
to ask her husband Tom to search her e-mails for their contact information. So, What was once fertile ground is now
completely barren.
     I am wondering if any of you would be interested in participating towards helping me finish the project? I've been very fortunate
in having two forum members, and one wife (Ken Matthews, his wife Hilda and Gerry "wires" Wilson) jump in and I'm so very
thankful for their help. I'm posting the video script here in hopes some of you will watch it and be inspired to voice a character.
I know it's an intrusion on your lives but I hope you will lend me a hand on getting the story completed. I thank all of you for your
consideration and am hoping to hear from you. Here's the entire script and I hope you like the story.

I have no idea where my voice could fit but I have no problem to record my voice.
Maybe you can send me some lines and I record them so you can check my voice...

It's a great story, and you have a lovely painterly look to it all! I especially enjoyed the little bits of humor. I'm so glad you decided to finish it despite your loss. I lost my mother in October, and working on projects is helping me.

I can't be Ari, because my voice is too old and scratchy sounding, but I maybe some of the background female voices, if a sort of standard American-sounding accent is alright. Be warned--I've never done voice acting. I'll try doing the duchess, too, and you could pick which, if any, you want to use. My voice won't work for any of my own characters, sigh, but maybe it could for someone else's...

If you like, try a couple of lines from different characters. A couple from Padwa, Rudolfo, and Pikey 
  (the other soldier in the "Inn scene") and see what's comfortable to you.
The key is voicing a character that YOU are comfortable with. Accents don't matter, it's a fantasy world with no
ties to our earth so anything goes. That being said, I'm hoping for a dirty, Very Dirty Cockney accent for the Butcher. 
Test a couple and send them to me at the address below if you are undecided. Together we'll find the right one for 
you. I'm looking forward to having you on the project my friend. It'll make the video even more precious to me to have 
my animation brothers and sisters play the parts.

     Both your site and your recordings are very very nice. I was wondering if you would consider the lead role?
I know it has a lot of lines and Ari displays more emotions than the rest going from friendly, as she is with
Rudolfo and the Innkeeper, to deadly serious and menacing as she is with the Butcher. Ari will sell the story
so I don't want to push you into anything more than what you're willing, or feel you are able to do. 
     This is a totally amateur production, as I am certainly no professional, so there's no pressure to please anyone 
except for ourselves. Your recordings make me confident that you have the range and ability so let me know your thoughts.

Thank you for responding Nicole, that very kind of you. I know it takes a certain amount of intestinal fortitude 
to volunteer for something you've never done before and I am greatly appreciative of it. Have no fear, I'm pretty
easy going and I'll work with you on the voices.
     I think both of your ideas are excellent. Please do any of the background voices you wish and, for sure, take a shot at the Duchess.
As this is a totally amateur production, we are not trying to please anyone but ourselves so there's no pressure to it. 
     It was Hildas' first time voice acting as well (the voice of Zura) so you're not alone in being a first timer. Try any and all of the voices if you
like, I'd be quite happy if you did so. The more of them you do, the better and more confident you'll become. I'm sure we'll come up with some
fine voice acting.
