Hi,

I'm using Iclone at 60fps with mocap data from MVN animate. Mocap animation is perfect in Iclone.
Then using live link to Unreal, it is good with Unreal also at 60fps but once I record it with sequence recorder , the mocap animation is a bit jerky..
I tried with the "fix fram" option checked and unchecked, and it is the same.

Coud you help me ?

Try to play IClone in "by frame" mode instead of realtime , it is not the same speed of course but you can adjust the speed in the UE4 sequencer after recording.

it is same result. Very strange i'm at 60fps in clone and 60fps in Unreal with Fix frame option enable.
The character have a tail animated with rigid body simulation in clone and the rest is Mocap curves from MVN animate.

In Unreal, the rigid body is perfectly smooth but the mocap animation part of the character is jerky ( original curves are perfect from MVN )

Also when I export FBX from Iclone and import it in Maya, the animation is smooth for both rigid body and mocap curves animations.

last thing, in Iclone the animation looks smooth in realtime.

For me it looks like a problem with UE4 LL- Sequence Recorder,  maybe there is coming a fix for this in UE4.26 :

Fixed! UE-96793 Sequencer: Frame Rate Drops when drawing many keys.

Maybe.. We tried exporting FBX and importing in UE and it is perfect.
Impossible to get smooth clean animation in Unreal with Live link even with a high end computer..

Also do you know how to export full animation ( bones and shapes ) from Iclone to FBX ?

Maya users with LL are having the same problem with UE4 LL Sequence Recorder.
IClone does only export all (Mesh & Bones)
You can check it with Autodesk FBXViewer (free)
Would be cool if IC exports Animation (bones) only :-)   CC3 does.

I mean that I would like my blendshapes animations in UE4..
But for now, I have characters fully animated in IC but after exporting it ( LL or FBX ) into UE4, we get only bones animation, no blend shapes..
Is it normal ? To me it sounds crazy

IClone exports all Morph Targets (Blend Shapes)

When you import into UE4 via FBX you have to tick "Import Morph Targets" and when you import a CC3 Character you also have to tick " Use T0 As Ref Pose" in the FBX import settings.

I'll try that tomorrow. And do we have to do something special in Iclone before exporting FBX ? 
Seems the exported FBX is free of any blend shapes informations... strange !

In motion live preview mode , you will get below 30 fps animation inside unreal, and you will found both iclone and unreal is running over 60 Smile
