Hi!

I have purchased the 100years battle war theme pack, it has three war horses as prop with default war accessories. I want to remove the accessories from the horse. I actually want a simple horse for my project. I also want ot change the color of the horse skin as texture. The thorughbred horse in the default project does not have provision for battle horse motion applicable on its timeline for use of my project. Can any one help me ?

Hi,

It isn't possible to remove the armour from the warhorses I'm afraid. If you need just bare horses then the Horse & Tack Theme Pack may have been a better choice in the long run.

It also isn't possible to add the warhorse animations to the free horse that came in the sample project but they can be applied to the Arabian, Farm Horse and Thoroughbred from the Horse and Tack set.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I have not tried it but maybe you can apply zero opacity to the armor so that it is invisible.

hope this helps,

Thanks for the great suggestion. The opacity map is locked for the armour and fabric but your post made me switch on my brain and remember this important new feature of iClone3. While you can't actually remove the armour you can make it invisible. Duh!

You are absolutely right. Just select the fabric or armour from the dropdown list and set the opacity slider to 0. Voila you have a bare horse.

Gotta remember to switch out of iClone 2.5 mode.

Thanks Stuckon3D. Glad someone's awake.
