Well, I have hit a serious problem and it is definitely a serious Bug in the renderer that was introduced with latest patch. I use GeForce GTX 460 on Win7 64 Bits.

Rendering is 720p Uncompressed AVI.

Image 1 is rendered with previous official version

Image 2 is rendered with latest Patch.

Can someone confirm they have same issue in 720p Uncompressed AVI ?

Any iDeas?

Thanks.

Seems to render fine on a GeForce 9500 GT at 720p uncompressed. If that helps any?

I got the same issue the other day rendering a jpg at 720x1280. A weird messy line on the right of the screen. Thought it was just me. Will post pictures tomorrow if necessary. I haven't done the latest update though.

All seems ok for me rendering avi HD 1280x720 uncompressed @ 25fps.

Also jpgs bmp etc all seem ok.

Nvidia Quandro fx1800  Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit.

Thnaks thebiz.movies :)

I guess I am not the only one. I have this issue with iClone 4.31.2517. I don't have the issue with 4.31.1929.1.

Cheers!

Hi BB

I have not been able to reproduce this problem myself but it could be affecting certain graphics cards depending on any custom preferences you have set for the card.

Seems you have already contacted Support regarding this issue so you should hear back from them soon. I will also pass this to the development team so they can look into it further.

Im using version 4.31.1929.1.  A few days ago I got the same issue on the left of this image (and another  one both at 720x1280 jpgs).  I got a geoforce GTX 460M running on windows 7 64bit.

However, Im trying to reproduce this issue this evening and so far cannot.  Please Let me know what comes of this.  Thanks.

Yeah, thats exactly what I got.

So far, what I found is that a re-installation of iClone definitely get rid of the issue. It does not seem to be related to the patch itself but rather to something else that I cannot figure out yet.

It happened to me twice in the past 2 weeks. In both cases, I re-installed iClone and the problem disappeared.

I will keep my eyes open as to identify what can cause this but it is definitely there.

What is interesting is that we have the same Graphics card series...

I just did a test render with 720p uncompressed AVI and did not find any problem. I have "only" a Geforce 9600 running under Vista 64-bit.

I thought about upgrading to one in the GTX series, but I may wait...

One update I did was for DirectX 9c: there is an 64-bit update from June 2010. I had some stability issues with iClone and that solved it. I don't know if it will do anything for the rendering though. It could also a display driver issue/incompatibility. You could try with a previous version of the driver.

Thanks for the information Animagic.

Right now, I cannot reproduce the problem but I put in place a few tools to help me trac the issue if it re-appears.

Cheers.

Hi BBoss

Do you recall when you had issues with WidgetCast and it turned out to be something related to you running 2 monitors so just a thought that this latest render problem is perhaps also linked in someway to running 2 monitors.
