Is it possible you can provide design files that were created outside of CTA as reference for us to pull apart and compare with our own? I have read through the white papers but can't find the answers I need....

I am having trouble with line weight, I am using are 5 points, rounded and still looking like they are (jagged) compressed once imported into CTA from uncompressed swf. Your files appear to be hand painted and much larger than mine even though I followed the dimensions of 1000x500.

Wich program do you use ?

If you use flash...and you mean vector drawing
For me is the best way drawing with the line Tool ( 2 points ) and if I like more inking look for my outline, I converted the line in fills and then modified it regionally.
Here is a description

and here you can see, 2 points is OK

Thanks Peter,

The CTA developer whitepaper, this is just what I need to read to better understand how to design and create my own characters for animation with CTA! Also, I'm enjoying my CTA Training DVD ;)

Is ist possible to make for us developer (or me:D ) a better Mouthshape template .
Like as Cherry Lips. A Guide with "real" Lips to see what this template mean to draw .
For me is the current template to abstract.
