being able to create inside cta your own special effects, and being able to truly do animation better than competitors will be the best ideal as you don't have to move across programs .animate basically anything with ease for now. it's easy to anime human, what about pet our house friends. imagine a cartoon with dog ,cat, mice, chiken, horses ,birds how do we anime them using cta? Special effects is a must ,lot of resource and anergy should be focuss on it. transfering all your icloner 3D technology to 2D will certainly give you the edge.

Although you posted this request many days ago, I am the one who agree with you for special effect in CTA but just wonder less people in this forum talk about this feature

All the Special FX included with CrazyTalk Animator are looping .flv files. With this mind, if you have the right flash creation software you can create your own SFX and bring them into CTA. :)

What is the real difference between an animated prop and a special effect? WHat can be accomplished via a special effect that cannot be accomplished in an animated prop?

from the way he was describing the farm animals , i think he wants to be able to rig non human bone structures. the alternative is particle effects , but nothing he mentioned suggested that.

planetstardragon (12/14/2010) from the way he was describing the farm animals , i think he wants to be able to rig non human bone structures. the alternative is particle effects , but nothing he mentioned suggested that.Actually with props and chained props, it would be fairly easy to create an animatible cow... Wouldn't be able to use any of the animation sequences or motions wih it, but it could be keyframed. My question was really more for Peter than the OP... I can't really see anything "special" about special effects... Animated props share all the same abilities as special effects, so what I'm curious as to what really differentiates a special effect...

you can include additional looping effects on the new power tool,we are not flash literate.so we will be happy to buy that on a bundle package.

I have downloaded flash demo, but I can only export to swf . I have tried an another flv video to save in this sfx folder , but it is not possible . So my question, too, what is "special" about special effects tab and how is it possible to save what in this? For me it is no different to an animated prop. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Hey Vidi! You can use iCLone "special" effects and save them in FLV format. If you get involved with flash you are going to loose your mind:hehe:
ANy video in FLV format can become a Special effect!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Mike. :)
When I do rendering a flv in iclone, how I get a tranparency background ? And how it is possible to save a sfx flv, or whatever media file , in Animator sfx Libary ? I think popvideo or i.widget is great for these assignment, but it is not possible to save and share it for the marketplace, although it is RL Fileformat. RL says, the reason is popvideo is a risk. what a pity ! :hehe: I tryed swf, but in Animator it will very big after importing.(increase the amount of data) :w00t:

It seems possible but I have not implemented yet! :D

Please correct me if I'm wrongHi Vidi SWF files are the containers which hold the looping flv video and any vector graphics and text. It is the SWF files that are the source for both animated props and SFX. Unfortunately at the moment you can only import and save SWF files as Props and not SFX. Allowing custom SFX to be imported and saved is planned for a future upgrade. Hope this helps.
