I finally installed Windows 7 x64 and immediately installed iClone 4.3 PRO. Windows 7 installs DirectX 11 by default, but iClone won't run because I don't have DirectX 9.

Do I really have to downgrade DirectX from 11 to 9?

This is strange, because I have Windows 7, 64 Bit and Direct X 11, and iclone installed and works ok

You don't have to downgrade to DX9 as both DX11 and DX9 can both be installed alongside each other on a Windows 7 system. Installing DX9 should solve your problem.

Thanks, Peter. Must be strange for you guys having to keep track of these odd behaviours. :)

So is Iclone going to get DX 11?

Just install a slightly older game that uses DirectX 9, and it will install it. The versions of DirectX can happily coexist, so far as I know.
