"there is a file named C:\program would you like it renamed to program1"

i looked it up in the c folder and sure enough there is a file with the name "program" no tag

when i start up CTA pro i get an error for the Live update Main program stopped working

anyone else get this?

This issue has been quite widely discussed and has affected many CTA users but it is easily resolved.

We have found in testing that the "c:\program" is actually a log file generated by the VC runtime installer, which was installed by CrazyTalk Animator. In some machines, this file was misplaced in c:\ with a truncated file name "program" without file extension, which caused Windows to sound an alert. It does not happen on all machines and it is perfectly safe to delete it so those experiencing this issue should do so as shown below. Please don't delete any file other than the one shown below.
