Animating avatar with prop - sync problems

i am trying to collect a clip i made of my avatar moving a prop / accessory from one hand to the other and saving it for use in another project..

tried collecting as avatar motion / gesture or as a perform animation for the prop but i always lose sync when i apply the animation (sometime the "link" between the prop and the avatar lost,other time the location of the prop changes completely...).

what is the right way to do it ?

is there a good tutorial that covers the interaction with video demo?

I don't have an answer right now.

However, as I recall, Alley asked a similar question in the CoolClones Forum some-time-ago re; money exchanging hands, to buy a pair of shoes. She received a Fix for that. The result shows in her Video Clip "Christmas Shoes" (I think).

Anyone-else?

As far as I know, you can save the "motion" of the hands/body of the character as a motion, but I don't think you can save the motion of the prop to go with the motion for use in another project.

However, I am not the expert here, I don't know if a prop's "animation" can be saved also.  Hopefully someone else here will answer this.
