Hi,
it ist not possible (any longer) to decimate a high polygon DAZ character in Hexagon down to a low polygon character and to reimport it into DAZ-Studio. In any case, Hexagon does not import or export FBX natively. And the bridge Hexagon back to DAZ does not save the bones and animations and morphs. I experimented a lot, but it fails. DAZ-Studio does not accept any change of LOD (LevelOfDetail) in geometry. Hexagon works vey well (!) decimating the geometry, so you wouldn't need to buy the expensive DIGIMI. But DAZ-Studio skips it, your only option is to reimport the character via bridge from Hexagon as a "dead" sculpture with the loss of bones and animations. I couldn't find a workaround. I'm convinced there must have been an intentionally change in the program code - there was a time when it was working, but the release of expensive DIGIMI caused the modification. Well, I need more time to save my money before I can buy DIGIMI Game Developer Kit - it shouldn't be that expensive!#

You know Hexagon is only a modeller and a little bit old ? You can creating only Polygone (staatic objects) or you creating new morphs per tweaking , but important, without change the polycount . Therefore Daz bridge can not work with decimate from Hex.

You are here in the German board, perhaps you find more help on the english site.:)
