Please,can someone help as I am new to this crazy talk,I just purchased crazy talk 4 media studio and cannot do anything as it cant validate the serial number and as far as i can see this has to be done before i can have access to the disc,I cant get into do anything because i keep getting this message while trying to validate serial number,

Online Verification Failed !

Setup is unable to retrieve the information from the internet to validate your serial number.

The problem may occur due to the internet connection failure,DNS recognition problem,or the firewall blocking.If you do have internet access,please retry installation at a later time.

Setup will be terminated.

This is obviously wrong as I have no problem with internet access as it says,so has anyone had the same problem that might be able to help me PLEASE.I cant get into the disk until this is solved ,so it is wrecking my head,please tell me what to do in easy steps as i am no whizkid,I just bought this to play around with some photos and stuff.thanks in advance.

I had the same problem today ( from 6 pm until 11 p.m ) with element 5 servers and I guess that the validation is only possible within their office times and after 5 p.m. there is no validation possible. But I don't know it for sure.
Did you ordered from Europe?

Hi,thanks for the reply,yes I like you bought it today and have been trying to validate it from 6pm till 10.30pm without any success,I bought it on ebay from England and I live in Ireland, combined with movie magix edit pro 14 plus, as a double package,I loaded movie magix ok but not crazy talk 4 media studio,i wont be able to attempt to validate it until after 6pm each day due to work,hope it sorts itself out,if i had have known that there was going to be validating shit,i might not have bought it because that kind of shit never seems to sort itself out,hope you have better luck soon,could you let me know if you are successful validating it during working hours.Thanks.

Sorry to hear about these problems you are both having validating your software. It seems irregular that you are both having this problem today.

I will find out if there has been an issue at our end and let you know as soon as I hear.

Now, 5 p.m. the same problem. I cannot vaildate the purchased software and so I cannot use a product I have paid. :w00t:
Now I am thinking about how to definite the word patience. :crazy:

Whenever I have experienced the problem decribed, it has been because I forgot to let the program through my firewall.

Yes I also disabled firewall before I first tried to install it, and still the same shit,I mean what kind of lame product wont let you validate it,I am beginning to regret buying this product,I mean it's absolutely no good to anyone if they cant even validate the thing,also I emailed their support section about the problem without a reply after 24 hours,does this mean that they are so busy answering complaints that they cant reply to me,seems that way to me,and they dont even have a phone number to validate over the phone,shit this is getting worse by the second..11 attempts to install and still the same message,I changed my browser from mozilla firefox as it would not validate to internet explorer 7 and still no validation,does anyone work in that place at all or do they just take your money for the product and then ignore the after sales problems,seems that way from here,if I dont get no satisfaction with this soon i'm gonna start bad mouthing them on every forum i visit and social networking site ,you tube,myspace,facebook etc..,hit them where it hurts,bad publicity equals bad sales..

Sorry to hear you are both still experiencing this serial validation error.

I have already notified support about yours and Andi's problem and they should get back to both soon. I also checked today the validation system myself and it worked ok both in and out of office hours so I fear the problem may lay elsewhere I'm afraid.

I'm really sorry for the long delay in support getting back to you. I will again contact support and try and speed things along. I'm sure this will be resolved soon.

Ok thanks for your help,you have to understand how frustrating it is to purchase software in good faith that it does what it says it will do, and then you cant even access it because you have to validate it first,and it wont let you validate..,that validation thing is'nt a good idea as it doesnt work for everyone,so they should change that system and perhaps they might have more satisfied customers and less grief going their way,3 days now trying to sort this out and still no luck,if it goes on much longer i'm tempted to use the disk as a frisbee from the roof of my apartment block,if I had hair I would be pulling it out right now.

I tried again on friday, 1 a.m. to validate natural Human Base: The same precedure as yesterday.

Hi springtime96 and Andi,

I have been in contact with support and they have informed me that the validation system has been checked is working fine with no problems at all. I can also confirm I have used it myself and it did work so this is correct. It was also confirmed that the system works 24 hours per day so there should not be an issue with the time you try to install.

Support also offered the following to try and help your problems:

Please try to check the below items before installing:

1) If you have any security program (such as firewall, antivirus, phishing filter, toolbar's blocker, rounter...etc) installed in your system which may block the activation, please turn it off temporarily until the program is installed.

2) Please check that you can connect to www.reallusion.com

3) Please use the steps below to confirm if you have any proxy server?

i) Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Internet Options" > "Connections" tag > Click "LAN Settings..." button

ii) See if you have any proxy server.

4) If you don't have any proxy server and the above items you've done, please try installing the program again.

If after doing all of the above it still doesn't work then you should contact support again so they can examine these problems in more detail.

Ok I am validated yayyyyyy.I just disabled all firewall and any virus protection and spyware I had and tried it and it worked instantly,so thanks for putting up with me and hope you Andi get sorted soon,just disable or remove any spyware or firewall or virus protection you might have and you should be sorted,if not I am afraid your gonna have to keep trying..

Thanks to Pete and the reallusion support. I could solve my proplem, too, in the meantime and validate my ordered add-ons.



My problem was very strange and I cannot tell clearly the reason. But I try to tell it with my words, maybe it can help another user, who has the same constellation.



I had a Norton AntiVirus and Internet Security on my laptop installed. I payed for 1 year, but this program caused so many problems in the past, that I decided to use SpywareDoctor. I tried to uninstall Norton, but maybe I was only ably to delete parts of Norton and not completely.. So maybe both programs ran into the background and caused the problems with the validation.



So I tried to uninstall Norton completely, but ther came the message that is only possible, if I install Norton again completely. I did. So ran Norton and SpywareDoctor. I only deactivated the windows firewall and tried to download the add-ons again: and it worked.



I don'd really understand what happened, but I am happy that I now have all add-ons to begin my work with iClone.



So, today I will do nothing. If I uninstall Norton............ maybe I have the next proplem. Don't know.................................:w00t:
