Self-Hosting is Broken with 2.1 and 2.5

I have created many widgets in the past and they uploaded to my websites just fine. All of a sudden, all new uploads will not work. I get the blank box syndrome. I upgraded to V2.5 to see if that would resolve the issue to no avail. All of the old widgets on my various websites work fine. I tried uninstalling, deleting files and registry keys, reinstalling old version, then install V2.5 patch and nothing seems to work.

I also did a clean install on two other machines of V2.1 (which was the version that worked great for me prior to a week ago or so) and the uploads from those machines do not work as well. I even tried from two different locations. I also tried from two operating systems ...Windows XP and Vista. I've tried both IE and Firefox (various versions).

My hosting company is 1plus1. Could it possibly be an issue on their end? If so, why would the old uploaded widgets still work I wonder. I'm just not sure what to troubleshoot from here. I'm out of ideas and have spent upwards of 20 hours troubleshooting to try and get my new widgets to play on self hosted sites. They play fine on my desktop with Air.

Any insights would be helpful. I want my widgets back : )

Thanks for your posting.
about your question, it doesn't effect the result of each self hosting widget in different version,
it means if you have exported by self hosting in v2.1, and then you upgrade to 2.5, the widget which exported by v2.1 will be nothing happened.

Compare to v2.1, it is little different exporting result in v2.5(2 folders and 1 html file), for example, i type flowing as my widget name, and i will get 2 folders and 1 html file as the following pic shown


and
1. Now you need to upload the _ShareFiles250 folder, the Flowing folder and the html file, to the Hosting URL using FTP.

2. for example
If you have typed in www.reallusion.com/widget in the Hosting URL, you must upload both folders inside the widget folder.
If you have typed in www.reallusion.com/widget/widgetcast you must upload both folders to the widgetcast folder which is under the widget folder.

that's all.
