Alembic files quesions

I have exported from Blender a piece of geometry with an animation that was created using a modifier. I have imported an Alembic file to iClone. I can't seem to be able to see where to modify the animation. There are no animation layers. The animation however does work. I just wanna be able to control the timing a bit better in iClone. How can I do that ? 
This is my first time using Blender and I'm not very sure of the workflow. If anyone has some advice that would be very much appreciated.

An Alembic file does not have animation controls. You should adjust the animation in Blender.
